Introduction

I am a passionate game designer looking to contribute and take up ownership of games that make millions of players happy.

Indie Dev at The Good Side Studios

Dec 2015 - present

 

Games:

  1. WORDIFLY - An award winning word game that was ranked amongst Top 10 games on App Store .
     

  2. Spun - A hard as nail level based platforming game set in a space temple. Coming Soon...
     

  3. I GLOVE YOU -  Fast Paced multiplayer arcade fighting game. Coming Soon...
     

  4. DREAM ON  An experimental game that explores how psychedelic imagery can induce sleep in a tired person.
     

  5. STOP -  Another experimental narrative-puzzle game  that explores real world issues and lets the player find a solution to the puzzles of life.  
     

  6. Sooooo Last Year - A dress up game that actually deals with the problems of changing fashion.

  • At the Good Side, I believe in making games that are accessible and highly addictive. It is a platform where I can build unique game experiences for my player base to engage. 

  • I am the Game Designer, Visual Designer and the Developer on all my games.

Game:

  1. BINGO BASH - An all-time top 10 Casino game with 1 Million DAU.

  • I was a part of Bingo Bash since (almost) the beginning of its development.

  • With a DAU of 1 Million, every design decision shapes the fate of the game in a certain way, making it extremely crucial to make the right choices.

  • A live game needs engaging fresh content and I created more than 15 unique game mechanics that kept the players engaged throughout the 3 week content cycle.

  • I also designed features like, Collection Mechanics, FTUE and Lobby Redesign to improve the retention of the game which in-turn improved the monetisation of the app.

  • The experience design and accessibility of the app was core to all the design decisions i took as the game was targeted to 35+ Women.

  • I led a 3 member design team that was considered to be the most passionate team that took ownership of the product.

August 2012 - April 2013

 

  • At BSB, we aimed to make mobile games for the Indian Audience. I was designing a game set in the early days of colonization in India.

  • It was a multiplayer social game similar to Mafia Wars combined with some elements of strategy.

October 2010 - April 2012

 

Games:

Astromon, DinoLand, Find Rusty's Biscuits, Super Skater, Xtreme Racers, Little Zippie, Hero Academy and many more fun filled casual educational games.

  • Qualcomm and EduComp's joint venture - Project Zeebo was an attempt at introducing an educational console for Indian Kids.

  • My first job and the start-up nature of the studio enabled us to explore and build genre defining games in 2010 when the mobile penetration had just started.

  • I built over 15-20 games along with a strategy for the console which had its own limitation. The games were mainly focused on imparting some sort of education to the players.
